Program Details
The Graduate Diploma in Health Data Analytics (GDHDA) is a specialized program at the intersection of healthcare, data, and technology, equipping professionals to drive meaningful innovation and improvement in healthcare organizations. A distinctive feature of the GDHDA is its role as a pathway to the Master of Business Analytics (MBAN) program. Students earn graduate credits that can be transferred towards gaining the full master’s credential.
This focused 18-credit-hour program is designed for efficiency and impact, enabling students to complete their studies in just 12 months of full-time study (3 semesters). The curriculum includes:
- 5 core courses to establish expertise in data analytics, health services management, and technology management,
- 1 elective course to tailor the program to professional goals, including the option to pursue certifications such as CPHIMS or CBAP®, and
- Experiential learning through applied projects and coursework that strengthen both technical and administrative competencies.
Graduates of the GDHDA develop critical skills in ethical data use, security, visualization, and geo‑spatial applications, as well as the ability to leverage data to enhance team-based care and optimize healthcare processes.
