The annual snapshot reflects "the exceptional energy, imagination and commitment of our faculty and demonstrates the willingness of our colleagues to engage rigorously with the urgent questions confronting us today," says Dr. Sara Malton, Associate Dean of Arts (Research and Faculty Support).

"In so doing, they model for our students what thoughtful, ambitious inquiry can achieve. I congratulate my colleagues on these accomplishments, which underscore the crucial importance of humanities research, and I trust that readers will share my admiration for the vitality and reach of their work."
